The Alesis Vortex Wireless 2 is a high-performance USB MIDI wireless keytar controller that comes with a professional software suite. It does not have any built-in memory and needs to be hooked up to a computer or hardware synth. The keyboard only sends cc codes and no sound, so it is necessary to connect it to the computer to convert the cc codes to sound, which will play through the computer's audio. Some customers had issues with connectivity, operating system compatibility, software installation, and missing items, but most users found this product to be an excellent choice for beginners to develop their keytar skills. They appreciated its wireless option, sliders, lightness, affordability, and compatibility with software like FL Studio 12.
