It has a long handle, a semicircle with a flat side scraping end and works as advertised for cleaning the blade and bottom of blender containers. It allows you to get every drop of your blended product and is easy to clean too. It might take more scraping if you have to get the stuff off the sides. While it could work well for nut butters, it might not work as well as smaller spatulas and "spoonulas" for smoothies and soups. The scraper is a genuine Vitamix product and fits perfectly with Vitamix containers, and probably it could get under the blades if there's enough room to fit even under other jars. The blender scraper is a very sturdy and helpful tool, like using a squeegee on a window.
