The Rode PodMic is a great microphone for podcasters and streamers on a budget. It is a dynamic mic that has a clean sound and can be used without an amplifier. It is a great fit for the Rode AI-1 interface and can be used with Audacity or Adobe Audition software. The mic has both 5/8 and 3/8 threads in the mount and works with any boom arm. It is a great option for audio book recording, podcasting, and remote podcast recording. Although it requires an XLR cable and audio interface, it is still a great value for the price.
