Native Instruments A25 Editorial Review
**** The Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol A49 Controller Keyboard is garnering positive attention from users, particularly those who utilize Native Instruments software. The seamless integration with the Komplete Kontrol environment makes it a compelling choice for musicians and producers who prioritize compatibility and ease of use. Many users appreciate the solid build quality and the full-sized keys that offer a genuine playing experience, reinforcing its value as both a MIDI controller and a dependable studio tool. While the keyboard is recognized for its high-quality keybed and responsive playability, reviews suggest it is not particularly portable due to its build size. However, its lightweight nature does allow for some ease in transport for home studio setups. Users report satisfactory experiences while using it with major DAWs such as Logic Pro, Cubase, and Garageband, although there were some initial setup hurdles for Windows users related to drivers and software permissions. The A49 is particularly recommended for its utility in virtual instrument control, especially for those with Native Instruments' vast library. Despite its lack of extensive knobs and sliders compared to competitors, users recognize its design as sleek and solid, making it accessible for both novice and experienced individuals alike. The occasional complaint about the sharp key edges highlights an area for potential enhancement, but it doesn’t detract substantially from the overall user satisfaction. In summary, the Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol A49 is a well-regarded MIDI controller that excels in DAW integration and performance, making it a worthwhile investment for users leaping into digital music production with Native Instruments software. **
