The Avantree HT5009 40Hrs Wireless Bluetooth Headphones work great for watching TV, as seen in the positive reviews. The headphones have a long-range capability of 164ft and come with a transmitter that has a digital optical RCA AUX input, as well as pass-through support making it compatible with most smart TVs. The headphones come with one-year warranty and a link to their registration page to double that to two years. However, the process to supply the LOT# and batch number is a challenge as the numbers listed on the drop down menu were meaningless and hard to read. Connecting the transmitter to the TV and pairing it with the headphones is straightforward with automatic pairing, but some customers’ experienced volume control issues. A quick solution is to follow the trouble-shooting instruction on the website before linking the headphones to a cell phone. Shutting down and starting again to reboot has worked for some customers though as a first step. Overall, customers are happy with the Avantree HT5009 40Hrs Wireless Bluetooth Headphones and recommend it for its use in personal TV viewing.
