Ancient Greek & Roman Editorial Review
Meditations Hardcover The Meditations Hardcover is a handsome and well-wrapped book that makes for a perfect gift for any occasion. It is securely packaged and comes in a thick bubble bag, providing extra protection during shipping. Unlike other book vendors who often use flimsy packaging, this book arrives in excellent condition without any gouges or sharp edges. The material of the book is praised by customers, with one reviewer describing it as "awesome" and exactly what they were expecting. However, there are some negative points about the book. One customer mentions that the gold page liners scratch off easily and leave gold glitter on the hands, which can be a bit annoying while reading. Another reviewer mentions that the content of the book is not recommended due to its unique and difficult-to-read translation of the original text. Despite the translation concerns, the Meditations Hardcover is highly recommended for those with an interest in stoic philosophy. It is regarded as one of the most influential pieces in the genre.
