It has a unique matte white tape allowing for pencil marks both on the tape and the case with the trademark Flatcap white space, excellent locks and belt clip which make it standout. However, there were some negative reviews of the product with some customers mentioning that it was off by almost a 1/16”, making it useful as a storyboard but not as an initial measuring device. One customer was disappointed because the tape has an end that is stationary and the hook end has no play for the inside/outside, which makes it unsuitable for outside measurements.
